Certificates
The quality of our products is ensured by a robust and continuously evolving Quality Management System. We operate under the BRC v9 certification, which applies not only to our own products but also to those we distribute commercially.
Each year, we successfully undergo recertification by the prestigious BRC quality control system, confirming our ongoing commitment to improving food safety and quality standards for both the food industry and the HoReCa sector.
We hold the Eco Guarantee certificate, i.e. certification of organic production within the meaning of European Union legal acts: Regulation (EU) 2018/848 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 30 May 2018 on organic production and labelling of organic products and repealing Council Regulation (EC) No 834/2007 and the delegated and implementing acts issued to the above-mentioned regulation.
Currently, part of our production offering includes products with this certificate, but we are constantly expanding our portfolio with products in the healthy food category. Upon customer request, we produce and import certified organic foods outside of our regular offerings.
The AEO (Authorised Economic Operator) certificate confirms a company’s reliability and commitment to secure, lawful operations within the international supply chain.
AEO status is granted to businesses that are:
- Reliable and financially solvent
- Equipped with appropriate organizational structures, infrastructure, and secure IT systems, warehouses, and transport
- Committed to safeguarding goods and storage facilities against unauthorized access
The AEO certificate confirms:
- Legal compliance and operational credibility
- Financial stability of the enterprise
According to Article 38 of the Union Customs Code, any EU-based entity involved in international supply chains and customs operations may apply for AEO status. Greek Trade Ltd. obtained AEO certification in November 2018, joining the ranks of trusted and authorized economic operators.
